In this edition, we are focusing on Mulhouse with two articles. Under normal circumstances, the city would be opening its 30th Christmas market. For months, many people and shops have been preparing for this festive time and Mulhouse will once again be beautifully decorated with a unique pattern, which this year is called “Resilience”. Shops will be open with extended hours including Sundays and the Christmas atmosphere will be kept alive despite the absence of the Christmas market. Read more here and here
While big markets have been cancelled, some small towns will still hold their Christmas markets, and Leymen will have its own for 3 Fridays in a row, December 4, 11 and 18. Read more.
In this edition you will find also 24 French words and traditions to help you (if need be) survive a conversation about this topic! Read more
In our aim to support our local economy, you will also find in this edition two sites featuring shops in Sundgau and Saint Louis. Read more
To close the Christmas topic, in the coming days we will publish some recipes, should you need some inspiration for the upcoming feast.
